Dr Moussa Farhat is an Australian trained Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in conditions affecting the Foot and Ankle, replacement surgery of the Ankle, Knee and Hip as well as lower limb deformity correction.

Dr Farhat was born and raised in Sydney. He obtained his Medical Degree (MBBS) at the University of Western Sydney in 2012 (graduating with a Dean's Medal), and then pursued his passion for education and the delivery of high-quality healthcare by completing a Diploma in Applied Anatomy by Dissection (GDAAD) through the University of New England (2015), a Master of Public Health through the University of New South Wales in 2016 and then a Master of Surgery focussed on Orthopaedics at the University of Sydney in 2018. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgical Training across both New South Wales and Canberra.

Since completing his Orthopaedic Training, Dr Farhat has further completed Fellowships in Complex Foot and Ankle Reconstruction and Lower Limb Reconstruction in Sydney (Dr Tim O’Carrigan and the Limb Reconstruction Service NSW), a fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery through the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford, UK (Mr Richard Brown and Mr Robert Sharp) and attended other international observerships and courses in Capetown (South Africa), Basel (Switzerland) and Baltimore (USA) focussed on Lower Limb Reconstructive Procedures.

Dr Farhat always strives to provide high-quality, personalised and compassionate care to all of his patients.

Dr Farhat has a special interest in conditions affecting the Foot and Ankle, Lower Limb Deformity Correction and Joint Replacement Surgery of the Ankle, Knee and Hip.
